Our sterile PTFE/PES capsule filters are designed for precise filtration needs in laboratory environments. With a pore size of 0.22um, these filters are perfect for venting, filtration of particles from air, gas, and liquid streams, and ensuring clean inert gases in vial filling lines. The PTFE membrane is hydrophobic, making it ideal for use with organic solvents and chemical solutions, while the PES membrane is hydrophilic, suitable for aqueous solutions. These filters feature sturdy polypropylene housings without glues or adhesives, ensuring no contamination of the filtrate. Available in various sizes with hose barb connections for 1/4″ to 3/8″ tubes, they are autoclavable and provide efficient filtration with a large effective area.
