Calibration and Usage
To ensure accurate measurements, follow the calibration steps:
- Turn on the pH meter and clean the electrode with distilled water.
- Immerse the electrode in pH 6.86 standard buffer solution and press the ‘CAL’ button.
- Repeat the process with pH 4.00 standard buffer solution.
- Verify the reading with pH 9.18 standard buffer solution.
Precautions
Handle the pH meter probe with care, as it is a fragile glass product. After use, gently dry the probe with absorbent paper.
